Yésica Pilar Magallanes is a lawyer in our Consumer Law and Electronic Commerce area. She joined O’Farrell in 2021.
In 2015, she joined Raimundi-Palacios Flores Law Firm in the city of La Plata. There she worked as an attorney for an insurance company until 2020. She developed her career as a lawyer both in the representation of companies and in the sponsorship of individuals, acquiring experience in the procedural field both in the Federal Capital and in the Province of Buenos Aires.
She is a lawyer graduated from the School of Legal and Social Sciences of the National University of La Plata.
She completed a postgraduate course for the practice as a Child Lawyer.
She received training in Consumer Law by taking different courses, among which the “Intensive Seminar on Consumer Law in Depth” carried out by the Postgraduate Program of the Universidad de La Plata stands out, and in 2019, she attended the “In-depth Theoretical-Practical Course on Consumer Law on Damages and Process” organized by the Bar Association of La Plata.
She participated in different training sessions and congresses on civil and commercial matters, but especially on consumer law.
She has participated in the two editions of the “Jornadas Platenses de Derecho del Consumidor” as a speaker, and coordinated Panel B “Tutela Especial Diferenciada de Consumidores Hipervulnerables. Children and Adolescents. Gender Perspective” at the XXII Argentine Congress of Consumer Law held on 08/11/2021.
