María Fortuna joined O’Farrell in 2019 and is a Senior Consultant of the Public Law and Economic Regulation Area. Her practice focuses on public services matters, public contracts and litigation.
Furthermore, her areas of expertise are environmental law, exploration, concession, exploitation and transportation of hydrocarbons; generation, transport, distribution and commercialization of power; transportation, distribution and commercialization of gas.
Before joining O’Farrell, she worked at Marval, O´Farrell & Mairal, and Pozo Gowland Abogados, where she worked in the administrative law department where she was in charge of civil, commercial, administrative and environmental litigation.
She was Coordinator of Judicial Management of the General Direction of Legal Affairs of the Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Nation.
She graduated as a lawyer from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1997. She also earned a Postgraduate Degree in Business Legal Advice from the Law School of the Universidad de Buenos Aires and a Postgraduate Degree in Administrative Law from Escuela del Cuerpo de Abogados del Estado.
