Juan Bautista Matienzo joined O’Farrell in 1996 and is a lawyer in the Litigation Department.

In 1974, he entered the litigation area of the Automotive Insurance Legal Department of the Caja Nacional de Ahorro y Seguro.

Between 1984 and 1988, he was successively 2nd. Head and Head of the Legal Department of Banking Operations of the Caja Nacional de Ahorro y Seguro. From 1991 to 1995, he was an Expert (Manager category) in the Legal Department of Telefónica de Argentina S.A.

Since 1996, he has worked in O’ Farrell advising several companies of various issues (contracts, tax, business affairs, guarantees). Concurrently, he was in charge of the supervision and general management of more than two thousand trials in civil, commercial, tax and contentious-administrative matters, pending before courts of the City of Buenos Aires and various provinces in Argentina.

He is currently in charge of a large litigation portfolio in civil and commercial matters, pending before courts of the City of Buenos Aires and various provinces in Argentina.

He graduated as a lawyer from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1974.
