The Provincial Regime of Strategic Investments, created through Law No. 15,510 (B.O. November 27, 2011-24), is intended to promote economic and productive development in the Province of Buenos Aires through investment incentives in strategic sectors. In this sense, the regime is applicable to investment projects to be developed in the whole territory of the province, covering sectors intensive in natural resources (including mining, energy, oil, gas), manufacturing industry, services, cultural industries, health and those declared of strategic interest by the provincial Executive Power (Section 5°).
