CREATION OF “SEDI” – ELIMINATION OF “SIRA” AND “SIRASE” – CREATION OF THE “REGISTER OF COMMERCIAL DEBT FOR IMPORTS WITH FOREIGN SUPPLIERS” – TECHNICAL REGULATIONS – ELIMINATION OF AUTOMATIC AND NON-AUTOMATIC IMPORT LICENSES.
By means of Joint General Resolution No. 5466/2023 published in the Official Gazette of December 26. 23, the AFIP and the Secretariat of Commerce, cancelled the SIRA and SIRASE regimes -which were applicable to the processing of imports of goods and services respectively- created the so-called “Statistical System of Imports (SEDI)” -applicable only to the processing of definitive imports for consumption- and created the “Register of Commercial Debt for Imports with Foreign Suppliers”, in which the parties that have commercial debt for imports of goods and/or services must register and make the corresponding sworn statement.
