On July 23, 2023, the President of the Argentine Nation issued Decree No. 378/2023 in General Agreement of Ministers, by means of which he seeks to establish an exceptional and transitory countervalue for the liquidation of foreign currency up to August 31, 2023, inclusive, by the subjects adhered to the export increase program for regional economies corresponding to the goods included in such program, including the cases of pre-financing and/or post-financing of exports from abroad or an advance of liquidation. The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (“BCRA”) will establish the mechanisms for this liquidation at a value of Argentine Pesos 340 for each U.S. dollar.
